- I am a 45 year old wife and mother. My Hubby is also 45; we were banded on January 27, 2010. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 24th. Together we have 2 girls; Samantha (20) and Emily (10). I have struggled with my weight all my life. I can lose it, but cannot keep it off. Over the last few years I have just gained and gained to the point where I can't look at pictures of myself and feel physically horrible. I work full time as an Office Manager/H.R. manager at a local auto dealership. I look forward to sharing my adventure with all of you.
Wow Dawn!! You look amazing! You were banded 2 months after me, and have lost over 10 lbs more than me already!! (Big Sigh)
ReplyDeleteBut, looking at your ticker tape, I am almost at the same weight as you now too. I will be weighing myself again in the morning, and I am hoping to be under 180! My ticker tape is currently stuck on 180.
I just wish that my face and neck showed the weight loss as well as you and others do! It is a curse in my family. Once we gain weight, our face and (thick) necks just don't want to give up the fat!! I need to lose about another 10-15 lbs before I will notice much difference there.
I'm so sorry to hear about your Back problems. I know how you feel. I have Spinal Stenosis, and have already had Spinal Fusion Surgery at the C4-5 level, and I have a pinched nerve in my lower Spine which they say, Surgery is the last option for! Hope your Insurance Co gets with the program soon, and helps you!!
